Here is information about the SBF exam and dates for 2026.

The strengths of our boating school

Save time

  • Faster and more precise learning through practical and goal-oriented practice in small groups (1 teacher to 1-3 students).


  • This allows the teacher to better address individual needs and optimally prepare for the SBF exam.

Friendly expertise at a fixed price

  • Here you will receive expertise from 20 years of training experience, explained in a pedagogically understandable and comprehensible way.


  • If it takes longer than expected, additional practice sessions are included in the fixed price, and the instructor will be very patient. There are no stupid questions!

Individual course planning

  • Arrange your practice sessions individually at your preferred times.


  • Practical driving lessons take place: Monday-Saturday 10am until sunset (9pm June/July, 8pm Aug/Sept, 7pm Oct) Sunday afternoons


  • Intensive courses are also possible, e.g. during vacation or holiday periods.

Sailboat sharing

Want to gain more experience with sailboats after obtaining your sailing license and get out on the water regularly? No problem! Only with us can you go sailing regularly with family or friends on keelboats for a fixed monthly price and continue to receive support from your sailing license instructor. Perfect as a starting point for future cruising sailors or for those who don't want to buy their own boat right away but want to try everything out first.

Skippertraining

Passed the exam, received your SBF license, but still feel unsure? Or haven't been on the water in a while? No problem, many recreational boaters feel the same way. Here you can refresh forgotten skills or practice challenging situations on an hourly basis, situations that aren't covered in the SBF exam. This is also possible on your own boat or on our training and sharing fleet!
